How to Play
The Goal
Guide your character from its starting tile to the cookie, but you can't move it directly. Instead, you'll build a program out of cards, then run it and watch it play out.
The Grid
Each level is an 8x8 board. Your character starts on one tile, the diamond sits on another, and some levels include walls blocking direct paths.
The Cards
Drag cards from the card box into the numbered slots below the grid. Each card is one instruction:
| Card | Effect |
|---|---|
| Move 1 | Move forward one tile in the direction you're facing |
| Move 2 | Move forward two tiles in the direction you're facing |
| Turn Right | Rotate 90° clockwise (doesn't move you) |
| Turn Left | Rotate 90° counter-clockwise (doesn't move you) |
| Break Wall | Destroy the wall directly in front of you |
| Minus One (single-use) | Reduces your row's remaining run count by one extra, use it to cut a row short |
| Skip (single-use) | Skips the rest of the current pass for that row, once |
Cards you drag out of the box get replaced automatically, except Minus One and Skip, which are limited to the copies you're given.
The Rows
You have three rows, each with its own counter showing how many times it will run. Slot your cards into a row in the order you want them to execute, left to right.
When you hit Play, the game doesn't run one row at a time, it cycles through all three rows in a round-robin: one pass of Row 1, then one pass of Row 2, then one pass of Row 3, then back to Row 1, and so on. Each pass uses up one "run" from that row's counter. A row stops once its counter hits zero.
Important: your character's facing direction carries over between rows. If Row 1 ends with you facing right, Row 2 will start with you still facing right — turns aren't reset between rows.
Walls
Walls block movement outright, you can't walk into one. Use a Break Wall card while facing a wall to destroy it and clear your path. Broken walls only stay broken for your current attempt; if you restart, they reset.
Winning
Land exactly on the diamond's tile when your program finishes running, and you win the level. If your program finishes and you're not on the diamond, your character resets to its starting position and rotation so you can adjust your cards and try again.
Description:
Program your way to the cookie, one card at a time.
You don't control your character directly. Instead, you build a sequence of action cards, move forward, turn left, turn right, break a wall, and slot them into three programmable rows. Hit play, and watch your plan unfold step by step across an 8x8 grid.
